Gimp Panoramic
This was by far the most frustrating project we have done. We had to take three different pictures and use gimp to combine the three into one. We used gimp to move the layers together, then we erased the seams and little details, we also used the scale tool to make sure everything was perfectly lined up. It was painstakingly long and annoying. In summary, I don't like doing panoramic.

Assignment #3: Light Painting
Shutter Speed: 15 sec
Aperture: 5.6
ISO: 80
For this assignment we learned how to use light painting. Light painting is a form of photography where the shutter speed is very slow, and the aperture is somewhat closed. Then picture is taken in the dark, with a light source making some sort of image or design, because the shutter is letting so much light in fifteen seconds, all the light is captured in the photo. For this picture I used a strobe effect on my flashlight and held the light to my face, then I moved slowly side to side and downwards. The strobe effect made a string of my face moving downwards. Light Painting is a very fun a different way to take photos and should be used more.

Car Gimp assignment
Over the past two days I have learned how to use GIMP's editing uses on Noelle's picture of this car. I learned how to select certain areas to color them in, and add layers to a selected area. I also learned how to use the clone tool to fix discolorations in a image. This picture has become much less distracting since I removed the background from the image.

Nature Assignment
For this assignment I had to take pictures of nature. I tried to show nature undisturbed and got the best pictures I could with that.

Motion Demo
Today I learned how to show motion blur using panning. Panning is when you move the camera with the object while taking a picture.

Architecture Assignment
For this assignment I had to find examples of Architecture in the world and take pictures of them. I took many pictures of buildings around Saline. All of these buildings have a variety of unique architectural structures, and we should be more aware of the beautiful buildings we have in Saline.
