Assignment #3: Light Painting

Shutter Speed: 15 sec
Aperture: 5.6
ISO: 80

For this assignment we learned how to use light painting.  Light painting is a form of photography where the shutter speed is very slow, and the aperture is somewhat closed.  Then picture is taken in the dark, with a light source making some sort of image or design, because the shutter is letting so much light in fifteen seconds, all the light is captured in the photo.  For this picture I used a strobe effect on my flashlight and held the light to my face, then I moved slowly side to side and downwards.  The strobe effect made a string of my face moving downwards.  Light Painting is a very fun a different way to take photos and should be used more.
